Background of PF4V1 antibody
PF4V1 belongs to the intercrine alpha (chemokine CxC) family. It is a inhibitor of angiogenesis and inhibitor of endothelial cell chemotaxis(in vitro). Binding to heparin is much weaker than in the close homolog PF4/CXCL4.
